Dave Chappelle Show CANCELLED!!! 🏳️‍🌈

Sources: Dave Chappelle’s show at the iconic First Ave. on Wednesday, July 20th will be cancelled due to continued backlash from the LGBTQ community for his “anti-trans” comments made in his latest Netflix standup special. Dave is set to perform 3 shows in 3 nights in Minneapolis with 2 more set for The Varsity Theater on Thursday and Friday evening. Many will be left wondering if The Varsity Theater will follow suit and cancel his remaining shows.

Tickets for all 3 shows sold out in under 5 minutes, so we know Chappelle’s fan base is strong here in Minneapolis, but according to a tweet from @MNURISING there will be a gathering/protest outside of 1st Ave. beginning at 6pm CST
