WATCH THIS! Young Rizz pays homage to Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.” with snowy visual!

Video Review By: Jake Faircloth

Young Rizz's music video for "Still R.I.Z.Z." showcases his undeniable lyrical talent and smooth flow over the classic Dr. Dre beat for "Still D.R.E." Shot by Robert Henry outdoors in the snow, the video features a festive Christmas theme, perfectly capturing Minneapolis where the rapper hails from. The inclusion of beautiful women adds to the holiday cheer, while simultaneously highlighting the rapper's cool demeanor and undeniable swagger.

What's maybe most impressive, however, is Young Rizz's ability to stand out over such an iconic beat - something that can be a challenge for any rapper. From start to finish, he maintains a tone of confidence and ease that's both impressive and infectious. I had my doubts when the beat dropped but this was truly a fresh take on a classic track that's worth a listen for fans of both old-school hip hop and modern rap alike.

What stands out most about the visual for "Still R.I.Z.Z." is Robert Henry's cinematography, particularly the use of lighting and colors. Against the snowy backdrop, the warm tones of the women's clothing and accessories, coupled with the flashing lights create a visually striking contrast that draws the viewer in. Even when the rapper is performing alone in the cold, the camera captures him in a way that feels dynamic and captivating.

Overall, I would say the visual component of this music video enhances the overall experience of the song, making it more captivating with Young Rizz almost saying there isn’t anyone colder than him while proving his lyrical ability and challenging any and all opponents
